Stéphane Desjardins has been a journalist for nearly 40 years. He is the editor-in-chief of Coopoint magazine, the only French-language media dedicated to collective entrepreneurship in North America. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Journal des Voisins and contributes as a columnist to Journal de Montréal and Journal de Québec in the Money-In Your Pockets section. He collaborates with numerous other media outlets as well. He was the founder of the hyperlocal newspaper network Pamplemousse.ca. He has led many editorial teams, including at Québec inc., Journal de l’Assurance, Finance et Investissement, Le Mentor, Vélo Urbain, Géo Plein-air, and Accès Laurentides. He has also held the position of Deputy Director of the Money franchise at TVA Nouvelles and was a columnist for Le Devoir. He has authored several books, including Online Brokerage, Getting Through Tough Times, Spending Wisely Without Guilt, co-authored 99 Tips to Get Rich (Éditions du Journal), The Reporter (Éditions TNT), and The Fermanian Family (Presses de l’Université d’Ottawa).
