Philippe Labrecque is an independent researcher studying the digital economy. He focuses on innovations, such as data cooperatives and data dignity, that have the potential to alleviate the social and economic inequalities generated by today’s digital technologies. Philippe has worked with data unions and Web3 companies and is now a development officer at the Social Economy Center of the Longueuil Agglomeration. He also contributes to Re-Public, a project striving to give individuals and communities control over their data.
